Rhotacism Therapy is a speech therapy practice app that helps users improve their pronunciation of the /r/ sound. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.

The app records short audio clips of your voice when you practice a word. These recordings are:

Sent to our analysis server to evaluate your pronunciation
Processed in real time and not stored after analysis is complete
Never shared with third parties

We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any other personal identifying information. No account or sign-in is required to use the app.

How We Use Your Audio

Audio recordings are used solely to:

Transcribe the spoken word using a speech recognition model
Analyze the acoustic properties of your /r/ pronunciation
Return immediate feedback to you within the app

Recordings are discarded immediately after analysis. We do not build profiles, train models on your voice, or retain audio data.

Data Transmission

Audio is transmitted securely over HTTPS to our analysis server hosted on Railway. The server does not log or persist audio files.

Children's Privacy

Rhotacism Therapy is suitable for users of all ages, including children. Because we do not collect personal information of any kind, no special handling is required for users under 13.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services.
